Jon has been affiliated with Rose City his entire life. He has been employed here for over 45 years. The Ollerenshaw family has been affiliated with the Rose City Cemetery since 1936. His knowledge and history of Portland and the Cemetery prove invaluable insight to helping families make their final arrangements for their loved ones.
Jon also likes cats, and much like a cat, doesn't like having his picture taken.

Jean has been a member of the Rose City team since mid-2021, when she began her career as an apprentice director before eventually becoming a licensed funeral director.
Prior to her move to Portland, she lived in Florida, where she graduated from FGCU with her BA in English and the University of Miami with her MFA in Creative Writing. Before the career shift into the funeral industry, she worked as a freelance technical writer.
Having recently gone through the loss of a loved one, she understands how difficult it can be to make decisions while grieving, especially when making funeral arrangements, and uses her own experiences to help guide families in making informed and sensible choices.
PS: Jean is also totally everyone’s favorite.

Raised in a log cabin in the high desert of Eastern Oregon and transplanted to the Vancouver and Portland area, Edith has called the Pacific Northwest her home for 39 years. Having tended to her own deceased family members, she knows firsthand the importance of the funeral ritual.
When not immersed in a book, Edith enjoys time with her man Tim, and spending as much time as she can outdoors.
She holds a BFA from Northwest College of Art & Design, an AAS in Funeral Service from Mt Hood Community College, and graduated from Vancouver School of the Arts and Academics.

Victoria is a Portland native returning to us from the Hood River Valley. After managing a funeral home in the community of White Salmon, Washington she knows how important it is to make long lasting, personal connections with each and every family.
She has learned that being a funeral director, especially in a small town, means so much more to the people you are serving.
Victoria is exicted to rejoin us at Rose City, after serving her apprenticeship here in 2014, and returning again as a Funeral Director in 2018, she is happy to be back in Portland to serve families in a community that has always been close to her heart.
She holds an AAS in Funeral Services from Mt. Hood Community College and has 14 years of experience in the industry.
In her free time she enjoys long walks in matching sweaters with her dog, Charles, spending time with her cat, Asher, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Mike grew up most of his life in Oregon. He studied Mortuary Sciences and General Studies at Mt. Hood Community College. His service to Rose City Cemetery & Funeral Home began in March, 1993 as an apprentice. After serving his apprenticeship and getting his funeral directors license, he left the business in 1996 to pursue other interests.
In November, 2001, Mike returned to Rose City Cemetery & Funeral Home and was hired to work as a cemetery counselor. He has been helping families with their cemetery needs for 15 years.

Lauren came to Portland 2 years ago to study Embalming and Funeral Service at Mt. Hood Community College. She hopes she can bring peace and comfort to families in need at Rose City Funeral Home.
When not studying, Lauren enjoys crafting, spending time with her friends, and being a couch potato with her pet cat, Harley.

Meghann recently graduated from the Mortuary program at Mt. Hood Communuity College, making a mid-life career pivot from her photograhy business after 20+ years. She believes that every life deserves to be remembered with respect and dignity and works to ensure their wishes are carried out with professionalism and heartfelt support.
When not in the funeral home, Meghann is still out taking photos, working in her garden, or hiking waterfall trails in the Columbia River Gorge.
Meghann has a BFA from Oregon State University in photography and painting, AAS in Funeral service from MHCC, and is a certified Master gardener from OSU.
