Thomas Junior Reid

Thomas Junior Reid was born on June 14, 1935, to Thomas Mercer and Florence Reid (Vandross) in New
York, New York. Thomas grew up in New York and decided to join the Navy in 1952 where he served in
the Korean War. After he served in the Navy he then moved to Portland, Oregon.

Thomas was an avid baseball fan and of course his favorite team was none other than the New York
Yankees. Thomas was always the life of the party, ready to laugh and have a great time. He was known
to be your biggest cheerleader and always looked out for his family and friends.

Thomas was a loving and compassionate Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Uncle, and
Friend. He was loved deeply by his wife Ruby Reid and family. He leaves behind his wife, Ruby Reid, Kelly
Hilland (Reid) (Daughter), Antone Coleman (Son), Jolene Thomas (Daughter), Denmark Reid (Son),
Brandy Foreman (Daughter), Preston Reid (Son), Jason Reid (Son), Teressa Hartley (Daughter), and
Arianna Reid (Daughter). Thomas also had bonus children, Michael Coleman (Deceased), Lee Audrey
Bailey, Nadine Boyd, Ronald Coleman, Denise Fareed, and Katrina Harvey.
Thomas also leaves behind a very large extended family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As a Veteran, Thomas will be laid to rest in the Willamette National Cemetery in Happy Valley, Oregon.
