Loretta (Kniss) Kammerzell went to be with The Lord on March 22, 2017.
Loretta was born in Portland, Oregon on March 16, 1936 to John and Katherine Kniss. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1954. Loretta married Harold Kammerzell, Jr. on August 19, 1956. Her first love and main focus was caring for her home and family. Together they raised four children: Pamela, Douglas, Heidi, and Derek. Harold and Loretta have resided in Battle Ground, Washington for the past 47 years. Her pride and joy were her 7 grandchildren: Angelyn, Sarah, Katie, Krista, Lauren, Colt, and Hilary and her 5 great grandchildren: Katelyn, Samantha, Austin, Harper, and Cooper.
She was a talented musician who worked in the Portland/Vancouver area as an organist, pianist, and soloist. Loretta was a woman of faith who gave many years of service as a musician to her church.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Glenwood Community Church, 12201 NE 72 Avenue, Vancouver, Washington 98686. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glenwood Community Church or justBible Ministries (www.justbibleministries.org)
