Dorothy Y. Nishida

Dorothy Nishida, 87, of Portland, Oregon passed away December 3, 2019 at Washington Gardens Assisted Living facility.  Dorothy was born in Kula, Maui.
Mrs. Nishida is survived by her children, Daryl (Heidi), Lynn Kawashima (Herb), Duane (Lynn).  Survivors also includes: Tamaye "Daisy" Nishida, Sister, and Sueki Yamamoto, Brother, and 4 grandchildren Rachel Larsen (Luke), Stephen, Kyle, and Rebekah.
She is predeceased by her husband Tomio "Tom" Nishida, parents, Suematsu and Kato Yamamoto, and brothers, Kazuo Yamamoto, Tatsuo Yamamoto, Mataki Yamamoto, sisters Masami Otsubo and Fujie "Betsy" Watanabe.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Epworth United Methodist Church, or Ikoi-no-kai (hot lunch program).
