In Loving Memory of Taneisha Chari Kane

Born on September 23, 1982, and passing away on August 10, 2025, Taneisha’s life was a testament to resilience and love.

Taneisha leaves behind her mother, Tracie Martin; her sisters, Tanita and Clydis Kane; her nephew, Deontae Patton Jr.; her aunt and uncle, Marcia Brown and Lester Brown; her cousins and their families. She will forever remain in their hearts.

Taneisha had a hard start to life, being born with special needs, but her resilience carried her through. Because of her journey, doctors were able to help many other children including her sister live fuller and happier lives.

Taneisha radiated warmth and love. Her beloved “Aabee,” a baby doll she cherished for nearly three decades, was a constant companion. Through adversity, she overcame a life threatening illness that lead to her being featured in an article calling her a “miracle” and words couldn’t be truer. She achieved other significant milestone like graduating high school.

Taneisha’s mother, Tracie Martin, a wonderful woman, made sure her daughter was always happy, healthy, and had everything she needed. She believed no setbacks could hold someone back from living a full life, and she lived that belief every day through the love and care she gave Taneisha.

She also received care from her sister Tanita and nephew Deontae. Their love and support for her were always present and abundant. She knew that whatever need she had would be taken care of with care and compassion.

Taneisha’s ability to express love and joy through her eyes and glances transcended words. Her smile had the power to light up any room, and her unique way of showing love touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.

Taneisha’s presence was an integral part of her family, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her.
