Ruth LaVerne (Albrecht) Sullivan
August 9, 1925 — September 4, 2017
Ruth LaVerne Albrecht Sullivan was born in Portland, Oregon on August 9th, 1925 to George and Lily Miller Albrecht. Ruth married Donald Sullivan July 5th, 1969. Ruth has three children; Sharon Hugenberger (Jim), Dianne Newman (Dan) and Ronald Underwood (predeceased). Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Janet Albrecht, and four grandchildren; Donald, Daniel, Megan and Jason. Ruth is survived by her daughters, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Ruth’s many hobbies include gardening, needle work and outdoor activities. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Red Hat Society.
Viewing for Ruth will be Wednesday, September 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Rose City Funeral home, entombment to follow at 12:00 p.m. A family celebration of life service will be held in Medford, OR on Saturday, September 23rd at First Baptist Church. Time is to be determined.
