Robert (Bob) Lee Jones, known affectionately as Bob was born May 25,

After his academic endeavors he proudly enlisted in the United States
Army where he served his country with honor. Bob welcomed his firstborn
son Lloyd Glen Jones.
In 1976, he met the love of his life Doris Marie Jones whom he shared
49 wonderful years. Together they built a life grounded in faith, love and
adventure — often traveling together and creating memories. Bob started
his career with TriMet as a bus operator in the 70's. If you rode the number
8 bus, you would be guaranteed to see him smiling and welcoming you
onboard. Bob was a loyal and valued employee. He gave 30 years
of service before retirement.
Bob gave his life to Christ in 1985 where he joined Morning Star Baptist

you know he served with dedication, passion and devotion. Bob was
always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a word of encouragement.
Bob loved cooking, bowling and found joy in traveling and exploring
new places with his wife. He had a passion for singing gospel music
where he uplifted many when singing in the men’s choir at church. You
could always find him catching a tune even up until his final days. Bob
was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known
for his warm heart and vibrant spirit who had a no-nonsense demeanor.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Ivy and Pencia, son Alrenzo
(Rennie) Ferguson.
He leaves to cherish his memory Wife Doris Marie Jones, Lloyd G Jones
