Richard Henderson

Richard "Rick" Henderson was born in Portland, Oregon on October 19,1943 to Ray and Louise Henderson. When Rick was 14, his father passed away. Louise later married Bernie Kane, who became a beloved father figure in Rick’s life.

Rick grew up in North Portland, where he made lifelong friends. He graduated from Jefferson high school in 1961.

After marrying his first wife, Yvonne, Rick adopted her daughter, Kari. The couple also had three sons together: Bernie, Paul and Sean. Rick married his late wife Pat in 1978 and became a stepfather to Michelle and Trina. The family moved to Milwaukie that same year.

Rick loved spending his time hunting and fishing, especially on the Oregon Coast. He loved attending car shows, playing card games and telling stories. Before retiring, Rick owned a trucking company, Paper Express.

He is survived by his children: Kari, Bernie, Paul, Sean, Michelle, and Trina. His grandchildren: Ceara, Melanie, Michael, Louise, Emma, Bailey, Gage, Harper, Claire, Jacob and Olivia. And his brother, Tom Henderson.
