Pastor Mark Randall Russell

Mark had a beautiful and blended life!

He is survived by his wife Renee Marie, his daughters Nina Rose, Madi Rochelle, and bonus children Michelle, Ashley, Jerome, and Nashyra; his mother Donna; brothers Brian (Se-ryong) and Jeff (Imelda). Mark loved his niece Raellyne (Mike), with his two beautiful great-nieces Legacy and London; his niece Lauren, nephews Kai and Chase, and his uncle, Greg Pearson. Mark also had had three grandbabies whom he loved dearly: Davon, Uzziah, and Faith.

We cannot forget how important his spiritual family was to Pastor Mark: his spiritual parents, Pastor Max and Sister Linda, and so many others in the body of Victory Outreach.

Mark was predeceased by his father, David, in 2021. His body will be laid to rest with his father, and someday, his mother.

When Mark and Renee married, they moved to Salem and began Victory Outreach Salem. They also opened the Victory Outreach Salem Men's Recovery Home. This was their genuine calling! Mark loved hitting the streets, spreading the word of God, and reaching the hurting souls. He loved discipling the men of the Salem Men's Home and watching them grow to their full potential in life! He truly loved people. He saw them for who God can transform them into and not through a carnal perspective!

Although there were many trials in Mark's life, there were so many more victories! His life was well lived and unselfishly given to those around him. He was well respected and admired by all. He will be missed by so many, but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at Victory Outreach Church on Thursday, November 2 at 10 AM. 16022 Southeast Stark St., Portland, OR 97233.
