Michael gave his all to every endeavor that life sent his way. On April 8, 1977, he was wed to Leslie G "Louden" Roach. There is no way to truly explain all the ways in which Michael made the world a better place or how deeply he will be missed.
Michael worked for Griffith Rubber Mills in Portland, Oregon for 41 years as a heavy machinery maintenance mechanic. Michael, or Uncle Mike as he was known around the barn, was the biggest supporter of the horse rescue that his wife & daughter started back in the early 1990’s, R&R New Options Equine.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Eugene Roach and is survived by his mother Patricia Roach, wife Leslie Roach, daughter Christina Fabian, grandson Dominic Fabian, daughter Rachael W. Dumbrava, brother Kevin Roach, sister Marina Burnett, brother Nathan Roach, sister Alexandra Roach.
We will be celebrating Michael's time here on earth with friends and relatives on
May 18, 2024, at his daughters’ home. There will also be a private graveside service at Rose City Cemetery. On May 25, 2024, there will be a celebration of life with Michael's friends and extended family at R&R New options Equine.
Donations to R&R Equine New Options in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
