London Jasiah Walker was born on January 5, 2007, in Portland, Oregon, to Jeffery A. Walker and Shirene Singh. From the very beginning, London brought immeasurable joy to those around him. He was deeply loved by his parents and adored by his older brother, Amir Isaiah Walker, with whom he shared a lifelong bond of love, laughter, and friendship. As a child, London was happy, adventurous, and full of life. He had a playful spirit and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. Although he would jokingly admit that dancing wasn't one of his greatest talents, he more than made up for it with his passion for sports, his determination to succeed, and his unwavering competitive spirit. London's love for athletics began at an early age. He played basketball with MVP Basketball before joining the Rose City Rebels, where he developed not only as an athlete but also as a leader and teammate. Football soon became another passion. He began playing Pop Warner football with Madison and Sunset before continuing his athletic journey at Jefferson High School and ultimately Evergreen High School during his senior year. No matter the sport, London excelled. His leadership, work ethic, and outstanding sportsmanship earned him numerous honors, including an invitation to the prestigious Les Schwab Invitational. More important than the awards, however, was the kind of teammate London chose to be. He encouraged others, celebrated their successes, and worked tirelessly to lift up those around him. After graduating from Evergreen High School, he proudly continued his football career at Southwestern College in San Diego, where he pursued both his athletic dreams and his future with determination. As the middle child in his family, London embraced his role with love and laughter. He possessed a personality that naturally brought people together. His family remembers him as someone who made everyone feel important, valued, and understood. Whether through meaningful conversations, words of encouragement, thoughtful gestures, or his infectious sense of humor, London had a remarkable gift for connecting with others. He loved teasing his siblings with playful sarcasm and cherished every moment spent with his family. He was always ready to listen, offer encouragement, or lend a helping hand. Affectionately known as "Love Bug" by his niece and nephew, London embraced his role as an uncle with endless love. He was truly the life of every gathering—the person everyone wanted to be around because he was trustworthy, dependable, genuine, and uplifting. He was the kind of young man every parent hoped their child would call a friend.
London was kind-hearted, goofy, fearless, loyal, and free-spirited. His laughter was contagious, his smile unforgettable, and his presence brought comfort and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had an extraordinary ability to make ordinary moments feel special simply by being himself. His family meant everything to him, and his friends became an extension of that family. He found his greatest joy in football, basketball, and spending time with the people he loved most. Although London's life was tragically brief, those who loved him are committed to ensuring that his legacy is defined not by the tragedy of his passing, but by the remarkable young man he was. They want him to be remembered for his kindness, intelligence, gentle spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the unconditional love he shared so freely. They hope the world will remember his smile, his dreams, and the way he made others feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Though his absence leaves an unimaginable void, the memories London created will continue to live on through his family, friends, teammates, coaches, and all whose lives he touched. As we mourn the heartbreaking loss of London Jasiah Walker, we also celebrate a life that, though far too short, made a profound and lasting impact. London will forever be remembered as a beloved son, a cherished brother, a devoted uncle, a loyal friend, an inspiring teammate, and a remarkable young man whose future was filled with limitless promise. Though that future was taken far too soon, the love he gave and the legacy he leaves behind will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. London leaves to cherish and celebrate his life: his mother, Shirene Singh; his father, Jeffery A. Walker, and stepmother, Tennille Walker; his sister, Kherington Mullen; his brother, Jayden Singh; his beloved brother, Amir Isaiah Walker; his cherished niece, Amirah Walker; his beloved nephew, Amir Walker Jr.; his grandmothers, Andrea "Nae Nae" Ferguson and Donna Taylor; his grandfathers, Jeffery Walker and Peter Singh; his step-grandmother, Sarah Brault; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, teammates, coaches ggd countless friends whose lives were forever blessed by knowing him.
