Larry Duvall

Peacefully and surrounded by family, Laurence O. Duvall passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Larry was born on July 13, 1946 in Portland, Oregon with mother Geneva and father Francis. Larry attended Ockley Green Elementary and Jefferson High School, graduating in 1964. Later that year, on September 25th, he married Louanne Katherine Wade and began a career in sales shortly thereafter. Their daughter, Danielle, was born on June 12th, 1968. Not long after that, Larry’s sales career took them to Eureka and Chico, California for a two-year stint, after which they returned to Portland. Their daughter, Nichole, was born on December 29, 1971.

Larry worked in sales at several organizations within the Portland area including Power Transmission Products, Bearings Incorporated, and later transitioned into the hospitality industry, in sales. Later in life, Larry married Sandi Joyce Bertram on July 17, 2002. Before his passing, Larry’s family played many of his favorite songs for him, as he was an enormous music fan of many genres.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sandi, his 2 children Danielle (and husband, Tim) and Nichole (and husband, Rodney), his brother Rick, his five grandchildren Cole, Adrien, Rose, Hunter and Tayla, and his former wife, Louanne.
