Johnny R. Williams Sr. of Portland went to be with his Lord April 30, 2019. Johnny was born June 3, 1925 in Blossom Texas. Johnny would grow up in a family of 7 boys and 2 girls. He attended Brooker T. Washington High School in Bohman Texas. Graduating from high school in 1944 Johnny enlisted into the Army. During his service in the Army, Johnny was station in Okinawa Japan and later served during the Korean War. He loved fishing and hunting and all sports especially basketball.

A celebration of Johnny’s life May 9, 2019 at 11:00 am is being held at Maranatha Church 4222 NE 12th Ave.
