Johnnie Charles McWilliams was born on January 3, 1946, to the proud parents of Rosie McWilliams and Eugene McWilliams in McIntosh, AL. He was affectionately called "Sunny and Johnnie Mac" by his family. He spent his early years in Pensacola, FL before the family moved to Portland, OR.
Johnnie Mac attended the prestigious Benson Polytechnic High School, which paved the way for him becoming a Master Machinist. During that time, he met and married the love of his life Kathryn McWilliams. That union brought 3 beautiful children: Johnnie Charles Jr, Pamela, and Darryl.
Everyone knew Johnnie Mac loved working on his classic Camaro, playing pool, hanging out with friends and family, and watching old western movies.
Johnnie Mac was preceded in death by his parents - Rosie McWilliams and Eugene McWilliams, loving wife - Kathryn McWilliams, son -Johnnie Charles McWilliams Jr., brother -James McWilliams, and sister- Gloria McWilliams. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children: Darryl McWilliams (Tamara) (Portland, OR), Pamela Holden (Atlanta, GA), Cherise Herring (Ervan) (Portland, OR), his brother Ljay Johnson (Doris) (Portland, OR). Aunt: Ruby Gray (Alabama). Grandchildren: Duane Houston, Adrian Holden (Melissa), Rebecca McWilliams, Quianna McWilliams-Silas (Carlos), Eddie Wallace Jr, Davontrae Allen. Great Grandchildren: Kiarra Holden, Jaylen and Stephan McWilliams-Silas, Derrick Pham Jr. And a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
