Jacoba Vandermeer

Jacoba was born in Oudshoorn, The Netherlands. She immigrated with her husband & four children to the U.S. in January of 1962 arriving in New York City on the 26th. She was a seamstress by trade. She was preceded in death by her husband; Johannes P. Vandermeer on August 11, 1984 and by her daughter Jeanette Mabe on June 24, 2009. Jacoba is survived by her sons: Jan K and Peggy, Martinus (Ted) and Karan, and Jacobus (Jim) and Nancy, along with twelve grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on February 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Lynchwood Church of God, 3818 SE 174th, Portland, OR.
