Gerald Maurice White of Portland, Oregon passed away on February 12, 2026 at age 78. A beloved husband and father, Gerald was a lifelong musician, educator and avid writer. He is survived by his wife Katherine Polizos, his son Zacharius Polizos-White and a large extended family. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to POIC (Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center), where Gerald began his teaching career, in Gerald’s memory.
