Ethan Hunter Glenn

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the loss of Ethan Hunter Glenn, age 26, who passed away on Saturday, May 16th in Portland, Oregon. Born on November 19th, 1999 to Daniel and Maureen Glenn, Ethan brought an undeniable spark of light and joy into the world from the very beginning.

Ethan grew up in Portland and graduated from James Madison High School in 2018 and from Oregon State University in 2023. He was known for his incredible spirit, creativity, and contagious positive energy.

Ethan was a passionate musician, snowboarder, hacky sacker, and all-around amazing human. He will be remembered above all for being an uplifting and compassionate human being and bringing laughter and happiness wherever he went. Ethan poured his whole heart into what he loved. He taught us all what it means to live passionately and leaves behind a beautiful legacy of empathy, authenticity, and love.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Daniel and Maureen Glenn; sister, Haley Glenn; a large and loving network of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his wide circle of cherished friends who became a chosen family.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Additional details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized. We welcome all who knew and loved Ethan to join us in celebrating his vibrant life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ethan’s name to My Voice Music, a non-profit centered around amplifying young voices and igniting self-discovery through music.
