Obituary of E. Grace Bonaduce
Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Monday, January 9, 2017 at Rose City Funeral Home, 5625 NE Fremont with committal services to follow at Willamette National Cemetery where Grace will be laid beside her late husband Antonio Mario Bonaduce.
Elsie Grace was born November 16, 1919 in Darby, Pennsylvania to Walter Irwin and Elsie Grace (Parson) Truitt.
Raised in Darby she attended high school just about five miles away in Philadelphia. She later went to Chicago and it was there she met a young man that would become the love of her life and lifelong companion. It was on a June 21st 1947 Antonio Mario & Elsie Grace Bonaduce were married. From this union they had three children. A daughter and two sons. They moved to Oregon in 1951 and have made Portland their home from that point one. Grace work a bit in her younger years as a salesperson in retail but after she married and they had their first child, she was a avid mother and wife. She was active in the care and schooling of her children and loved being a mother. Grace was a member of Henson Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed oil painting, sharing her art with many friends. She loved the beach especially Lincoln City and was a rockhound searching many parts of Oregon for thunderheads. She had many talents including quilting and knitting. She loved reading and was very active in genealogy.
Grace is survived by her children; Diana Blakeley, Nick and Paul Bonaduce, grandchildren; Amy Gardner, Jenny Palm, Ragen & Jerin Blakeley, Leah, Julie & Tina Bonaduce, Great grandchildren; Kyrie Marie Blakeley, Emrey Teyton Blakeley-Meyer Lincoln Hodges, Charli Santer, Audrey, Ava Palm, Tristan & Chole Gardner.
