Dorothy Theresa Sheedy

Dorothy Sheedy, the best mom, grandma, and "GGM", peacefully left this world to join Jesus in heaven on Aug. 30, 2012. She was 74 and died of cancer, complicated by other health conditions.
Dorothy graduated from Immaculata/Marycrest High School in 1956. She worked at Roseway Theater where she met her husband, Neil, who used to come and flirt with her at the ticket booth during his lunch breaks from Everest Brother Automotive. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, sewing, bunko, pinochle, bowling, and family gatherings. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, and her parents: Leo and Theresa Burkhartsmeier. She is survived by four children: Tim (Cheri) Sheedy, Teri Liberator, Tami (Paul) Albertine, and Ted (Cheryl) Sheedy; thirteen grandchildren including spouses; 2 great grandchildren; and her sisters: Carol and Leah. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Charles Church on Sept. 7, 3:30P.M., preceded by the Holy Rosary at 3:00P.M.. Interment will be Monday, Sept 10, 10:00A.M. at Willamette National Cemetery.
