Royal, June 13, 1951 - April 12, 2015 Our beloved mother was born in Omaha, Neb., to Nathaniel Royal and Jeanetta Steen and departed this life quietly in Vancouver, surrounded by family and close loved ones. At her request, there will be no traditional funeral services. A formal ceremony to inter her ashes will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, in Rose City Cemetery, 5625 N.E. Fremont St., Portland, OR 97213.
