Debbie Ann Arrington, age 67, was taken from us far too soon on September 20, 2026 in Portland, OR. She was born May 22, 1959 to Patricia Ann Tackett and Jack Farley Rice in Tillamook, OR. She grew up with her three younger siblings in Rockaway before moving to Portland, Oregon. She had two daughters whom she loved with all her heart. She spent her working years giving back to others as an Activities Director, Caregiver, and Med Aid in Nursing and Assisted Living Homes.
Debbie surrounded everyone around her with steady, unconditional love—and received it in equal measure. While we grieve her passing, we hold tight to the joy, warmth, and strength she brought into our lives. Her spirit endures in every story we share, every memory we cherish, and the countless hearts she touched. Though her absence leaves a deep quiet, the love she gave remains a lasting comfort to us all.
Debbie is survived and deeply missed by her loving partner Emery (Skip) Christianson, her beloved daughter, Amy Carroll, her little sister Peggy Brown, her cherished grandchildren, Davonte Gillespie, Alyssa Gillespie, Jasmine Turner, Caleb Bradford, her great-grandson, Kai Wisdom Gillespie, her bonus daughter and grandchildren, Starline Rigdon, Maleia Calvert, and Noah Evans along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She joined in eternal rest with her parents, Patricia Tackett and Jack Rice, her siblings Londa Rice and Randy Brown, and her first born daughter, Lisa Brillhart. Their absence was a part of Debbie's story and a part of the love she carried throughout her life.
