Obituary of Dave Morales

Dave was born August 20, 1935 in Denver, Colorado; he was the younger of two sons born to Josephine Morales.  His father was Pete Rodriguez. In 1967, Dave moved his family to Portland, Oregon where he resided and called home over the last forty-nine years.

Dave enjoyed working with his hands, as employment he worked for Anodizing Inc. for over 16 years as a welder, where he retired in 2000.  Dave held a love for cars and tinkering with them. He was a self-taught mechanic and was a jack-of-all-trades, from fixing cars, carpentry, mechanical work, and plumbing; you name the job and Dave held the solution. He enjoyed listening to 50’s and 60’s music and playing his spoons to the tunes. Dave was also a fan of old school Portland Wrestling, WWE, and Boxing.  He had a servant’s heart and helped all persons he met. He was a kind soul and devoted family man. Many will miss his physical presence and loving demeanor.

Dave is survived by his four children Dave Morales, Veronica Wilson, Leroy Morales, and Eugene Morales, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and his brother Frank Morales; along with a host of nephews and nieces.
