Charles E. Finegan Jr

Charles “Chuck” Finegan, age 79 passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2023, at his home from complications of Parkinson's. He was born October 8, 1944, to Charles “Ed” and Venita Finegan. Chuck graduated from Grant High School in Portland, OR and attended the University of Oregon.

Chuck was a Radio Operator while enlisted in the Air Force Reserves Air, Sea and Rescue. He also worked a summer as a Park Ranger in the Gifford National Forest. His lifelong work was as a Stockbroker with various firms in Portland, OR. He loved his job and loved the clients he was privileged to serve.

Chuck thoroughly enjoyed spending time on his boat (the NASDAQ), snow skiing, golfing, and traveling the world with his wife & friends. Spending time with family & friends was always very important to him. He also loved his Oregon Ducks!

He is survived by his wife, Debra of 36 years; sister Pat (Mario); brother Steve (Jeanne); Mother-in-law Marilyn; Sister-in-law Susie (Joel); Brother-in-law Ed (Debbie); Brother-in-law Steve (Belinda); Nieces & Nephews Charlie (Lacey), Kyle (Katelyn), Tomas, Marisa, John, Casey (Anne), Patrick (Jess), Courtney, David (Marta), Goddaughter Nicole (Dave) and those who call him Papa: Connor, Addison & Kennedy.

Chuck fought his Parkinson's with grace and dignity. Just as in life, his smile and humor were ever present.

A private graveside service will be held with family. A Celebration of Life will be held in November. His friends and family will be notified of the details.
