Billie Joann “Joann” Curtis

Billie Joann Curtis, lovingly known as Joann, went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2025, in Vancouver, Washington, at the age of 87. She was born on September 6, 1937, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and from her earliest days, she was a light to all who knew her.

Joann lived a life centered on faith, family, and love. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was affectionately called “Super Grandma” by her seven great-grandchildren, a title she wore with joy and pride. She is survived by her two sisters, Cinda and Charlene; her daughter, Brenda; her four grandchildren, Tolby, Crystal, Colton, and Carlee; and her seven great-grandchildren who were the joy of her later years.

She was a hardworking and kind woman who lived every day with strength, grace, and an unwavering belief in Jesus Christ. Her faith guided her through life’s challenges and joys, and her family always knew she was their steady rock. Joann lived her life for her family, always ready to give her time, love, and care—doing absolutely anything for them until she no longer could.

Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on through all those who loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, the family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in her eternal home.

A private family gathering will be held to honor and celebrate Joann’s life.
