Betty Jane Hahn

Betty Hahn of Portland, OR, formerly of Dysart, IA was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Betty is survived by daughter, Mary Rix (Gresham, OR) and son, Bill Hahn (Nipomo, CA).  She had three grandchildren: Eric (Jen) Rix, Matt Hahn (Noell Clark) and Jennifer (Jeff) Burt and four great granddaughters: Alexa and Jenna Brockel, Avery Burt, and Aria Rix. Betty was preceded in death by her husband (Robert), son (Douglas), and granddaughter, (Tamara).  Betty loved to polka dance, play pinochle cards, and cook for family and friends.  She requested that you simply take time to be nice to someone, be charitable, or do something you enjoy in her memory.  A Memorial services will be held Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at 11:00am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Portland. OR.  Interment of ashes will occur at a later date in the Dysart, IA cemetery.
