Obituary of Alicia Westerman

Funeral Services will be held, 12:30, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Rose City Funeral Home with her committal and burial to follow at Rose City Cemetery. Alicia passed away February 6th at Tigard, Oregon at the age of 32.

Alicia Lynn Westerman was born December 28, 1983 in Portland the eldest of two children born to Lee Ewing and Julia Marie (Atkinson) Westerman. She attended both Grant High School and Sherwood High School and was taking classes at Portland Community College. She was married to Daniel “Danny” Ryan Sanzone on December 9, 2004 five years after being introduced by a roommate in 1999. Alicia loved life and enjoyed the annual events of her birthday shopping with her mother and grandmother as well as the Christmas Eve shopping spree with her dad.  She had a passion for dogs and would have had many more than the three they had at one time if Danny hadn’t put his foot down. She was a girl’s girl who enjoyed dressing up and doing makeup yet, would jump in to a tee shirt and jeans and tear into a car engine in the backyard as well.

Alicia is survived by her husband, Danny, son; Tyler, parents; Julia and Lee Westerman, brother Kenny Westerman, grandparents; Nancy (Richard) Tenneson, Father in law; Dan (Christine) Sanzone, Mother in law: Debbie (Stan) Axe and Grandmother in law: Christine Sanzone.
