Neokeo Cherise Gaines
January 16, 1966 — November 8, 2017
Neokeo Gaines, was born on January 16, 1966 to Jackie Williams and was later adopted by her husband Stanley Gaines. Neokeo was the first grandchild; which made her grandparents so happy. She attended Mt. Olivet Church as a young child with family and friends.
Neokeo attended Whittaker Middle School where she found her love for sports and played softball and ran track through her high school years at Jefferson and Grant High School.
Neokeo was wise beyond her age; she took on the responsibility of taking care of her young siblings and cousins and her caring nature continued throughout her life. She had a passion for taking care of others. She loved basketball shoes. No matter when saw Neokeo, she was wearing the latest sneakers.
She was a strong and caring person. Neokeo had big a heart and would walk miles to help the ones she loved and cared for.
On Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, Neokeo was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Neokeo leave to cherish her memories her 4 sons; 1 daughter; her parents; brother; grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
