They soon moved to Portland, Oregon to begin their life together and start a family.

Margaret was devoted to her family. She loved her husband of 60 years, her three children, six grandchildren, and many dear relatives. She valued her friendships.

Margaret had active roles in her church and PTA. She never tired of learning. Margaret graduated from college with an Associate’s Degree in 1977. She later bought a school and office furniture business, where she and her two sons achieved success from 1990 through the end of 2022.

Her past times included reading, photography, attending corvette club events and traveling the United States and Europe with Gordon. She also loved being with her grandchildren, watching them in school plays, sports, graduations, and attending their weddings.
