Dear Uncle Jess, Janice, Rick and Nancy (and family), we will never forget Aunt Kumi for her warmth and tender heart. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and we are all saddened by her passing. I'll always remember her smile, compassion and the love she shared with all of us -- I'm smiling now as I think about our times playing Hana cards, her love of dogs, and her delicious manju and red bean rice. We are all blessed to have known her, and she will be missed dearly.

Dear Uncle Jess, Jani, Ricky and Nancy,
I'm sorry I won't be at the service tomorrow, but will come up for her Memorial next month.
I remember when I was around 3 or 4 (?) visiting Mr. & Mrs. Ono's house with Uncle Jess and how she would bring out tracing paper and illustrated books so I could trace them while the grown ups talked. She always considered our feelings.
I will never forgetr Aunt Kumi and her ever constant smile and kindness. I was so fortunate to see her smile one more time when I saw her in September.

I remember Kumiko fondly from the class of 52. May the family feel God's comfort at this time.

We wanted to share our condolences with Kumiko’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
